 Captivating, quick read.
I picked this up after the author did a promotional video for it on YouTube on his channel, The Attic Dwellers. Solid content, by the way, check that out too.

This pretty much grabbed my attention, right off the bat. I read the book in 3-4 sittings, as it was quick paced, flowed incredibly well and kept me glued to it. I thought the premise was neat and really interesting and I liked the primary characters and their camaraderie.

I don't want to spoil plot details, so I'll just add that my biggest takeaway are that I enjoyed the growth of the main character, as well as how the book generates a good amount of wonder, which a lot of newer things just seem to lack.

This is written with a younger audience in mind, and it's something that I think I'm going to pass off to my nephews and nieces and see if it's as captivating to them, as I assume it will be.

  1. Plot spoilers? Me? (Yeah, I get that a lot, but I was SO CAREFUL this time!) Tell me what constitutes a spoiler and I'll delete it. But first, tell me you're writing again. This novel is great! I love it! I want more!
